BWHI is excited to release its first comic book, which will follow the adventures of Luna while promoting positive sexual behaviors.
The Black Women’s Health Imperative will commemorate National Women & Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day with the release of the first-ever graphic novel depicting cis and transgender Black women as superheroes on a quest to encourage HIV awareness and prevention. A portion of the proceeds from each book sold will be used to support BWHI’s HIV/AIDS prevention programs.
