BWHI Founder Byllye Avery visited with students at Spelman College, which is where the organization was established over 35 years ago. She, BWHI CEO & President Linda Goler Blount, Chief Development Officer Ann McMikel, and BWHI Special Projects Manager, Zsanai Epps joined students to discuss various health issues impacting women, including the need to shift negative narrative and stigma around menstruation. BWHI’s #PositivePeriod Campaign is currently raising funds to provide reusable menstrual cups to women in need in Kigali, Rwanda and Atlanta, GA to address menstrual product insecurities both in the US and abroad.
