I know you’re busy changing your phone number, figuring out the most epic way to quit your job and seriously contemplating when and where to swim through your cash like Scrooge McDuck. But please, allow me to cut to the front of the line of people who will be asking you for a few bucks, to explain why you should donate just a fraction of your winnings to us at the Black Women’s Health Imperative.
I won’t bore you with our 30+ year history or explain that we’re the only national organization dedicated to improving the health and wellness of our nation’s 21 million Black women and girls. Instead, I want you to watch this short video of just one of the lives we have changed.
Mr./Mrs./Miss New Billionaire (or multimillionaire, if you took the cash option), you have the tremendous opportunity to create many more stories like Helen’s – to help women take control of their health and, as an extension, improve the health of their families and communities.
