On behalf of Black Women’s Health Imperative founder Byllye Y. Avery and its Board of Directors, you are soulfully invited to convene with us in celebration of our 40th anniversary!

We will return to our roots with “Homecoming” dinner and dancing celebrations in the cities where we began as chapters – Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia/ Washington, D.C. Metro Area.

We will celebrate our four decades of impact in:

  • Reproductive justice
  • Maternal health
  • Chronic disease
  • Cancer research and screenings
  • Provider & policy change
  • College and youth programs

And, we will look toward the future with a new call to action in the fight for reproductive justice!

Our celebrations will feature local artists, musicians, and thought leaders. And we will honor grassroots leaders with BWHI signature awards.

And, In honor of our 40th anniversary, BWHI is offering 40 scholarships per event to cover the full cost of the ticket (you can apply in the form below).
