Empowering the Fight: BWHI Supports 5 Breast Cancer Non-Profits

Empowering the FightBig news! For four decades, The Black Women’s Health Imperative (BWHI) has championed the causes crucial to the health equity of our community. Now, we’re unveiling our strategies. Our BWHI Change Agency is backing fierce nonprofits in their battle against the menace of Triple Negative Breast Cancer in Black Women.

So, what’s the deal?

You see, some amazing nonprofits out there are doing groundbreaking work but could always use more resources. Enter: BWHI’s Triple Negative Breast Cancer Capacity Building Intensive. We’re talking mentorships, seminars, and a whole lot of strategic magic to get these organizations poised to create even bigger impact.

From developing relevant training curriculums and providing strategic guidance to sharing up-to-date research on nonprofit management, we’re pulling out all the stops.

The participants have already benefited greatly from the new partnership. Ida Henry shared, “This program is so rewarding. We were able to attend a training conference in DC where we gained so much invaluable information, especially about fundraising.” Meanwhile, Tiah Tomlin gushed, “The one-on-one digital strategy support has taken the fear out of re-branding for me.”

Leveling Up the Digital Game:

Digital landscapes evolve at a rapid pace. Without access to digital marketing expertise, these non-profits may find it challenging to stay abreast of the latest online trends. This can limit their ability to engage audiences effectively or get their essential messages across. One major highlight of this initiative? Digital prowess. These organizations will be dabbling with some cool digital tools: videos, a plethora of social media posts and replicable educational tool kits. They’ll even be crafting plans to use digital media to boost their brand presence.
