Strategic Marketing & Planning
- Support the development and lead the execution of integrated marketing strategies that elevate BWHI’s visibility, engage key audiences, and drive measurable impact.
- Translate program, advocacy, and fundraising goals into actionable briefs and 360° campaign plans.
- Ensure program-specific marketing is synergistic with brand marketing, aligned with organizational priorities, and properly resourced.
- Create and maintain a strategic marketing calendar to coordinate campaigns, optimize timing, and ensure alignment across brand and program initiatives.
- Develop program- and project-level marketing budgets to ensure funder goals are realized and spend is optimized.
- Oversee campaign implementation in partnership with the EVP, ensuring brand consistency, cultural resonance, and alignment with BWHI’s mission.
- Manage the overall marketing budget to maximize impact across brand and program initiatives.
- Leverage analytics, audience insights, and media mix modeling to optimize targeting, resource allocation, and campaign effectiveness.
- Establish and track KPIs to measure performance, triangulate results, and refine strategies in real time.
- Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on marketing performance and impact.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging platforms to ensure strategies remain innovative, competitive, and mission-aligned.
- Coordinate PR and media efforts with external partners to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Prepare talking points and briefing materials for media appearances and events.
- Lead crisis communications planning and response in partnership with senior leadership.

- Strong understanding of the health advocacy landscape.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to craft compelling narratives and talking points.
- Strong project management abilities, with experience coordinating teams and multiple projects simultaneously.

The Human Resources Specialist plays a key role in supporting the employee experience and operational excellence at BWHI. As part of a small, dynamic nonprofit team, this role combines people-facing responsibilities with compliance, payroll coordination, program administration and employee communications. The Specialist will lead improvements to the onboarding and offboarding experience, coordinate employee engagement activities for a fully remote team, maintain the HR intranet site, support compliance and policy development, administer the performance review process, assist with organization-wide events and help create templates and tools for goal setting and KPI tracking.
This position is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who thrives in a mission-driven environment, works well independently and collaboratively, and enjoys building programs and processes that enhance the employee lifecycle.
● Lead and improve onboarding and offboarding processes, including 30- and 60-day check-ins feedback collection, and experience enhancements.
